The Not-So-Short List

Since I've been mulling next books lately, I figured I'd give you a peek at the list of ideas I'm trying to choose from. They are all set during the Regency, because I can't seem to write anything before or after that time period. So here they are, in no particular order:
  • Bound Forever; the third and final book in the Bound series, featuring Oliver and Vincent.
  • TBT (to be titled); short story for Arsen and Henry from Object of His Desire.
  • Thief; m/m novella with Arsen's youngest brother
  • TBT (to be titled); m/m vampire novellas. I recently finished a m/m vamp WIP, and it may end up being the start of a 3 book series. If so, then these are the other 2 books to go along with it.
  • A Gentleman for Her; m/m/m/f novel with D/s elements. I started this one AGES ago. It has the honor of being my first erotic WIP. I liked the heroes so much, I quickly put the WIP aside and moved on to m/m books. But this one's bugging me again so I want to finish it sooner rather than later. It's a 1/3 done. Yeah, it's got girl cooties, but it's a m/m/f that turns into 2 very friendly pairs (m/m and m/f). So hopefully the chick won't scare any of you away. *g*
  • Convincing Leopold; another book for Arthur and Leopold from Convincing Arthur. I want to see how things go for them when they get back to London.
  • TBT (to be titled); m/m BDSM novella
  • Kept; m/m BDSM novel
  • TBT (to be titled); m/m/m with 2 rakehells and a pretty boy who bears a resemblance to the one pictured at the top of the post. I'm not sure about the length. May make it into short novel territory since I'll have 3 heroes and the added complexity of a menage relationship to sort through.
Damn, the list looks really long once it's typed out. And these are just the ones with notes and/or outlines already completed. The new-book-idea muse needs to go on vacation for a bit. Maybe I'll send her to Ireland - I've always wanted to visit there.

  1. Wow! You're a busy lady! If I had to cast my vote, I'd love to read another story about Vincent and Oliver!

But, I gotta say...the vampire books sound pretty darn good. Are they set in the Regency Era?? Even cooler if they are.

Oh and that m/m/m/f...*clears throat* that must be some heroine in that story!! ;)

  2. Never mind about the Vampire question...I see that you wrote that at the top of the post. Hmmm...that makes my vote a tough one to make.

  3. First I want to tell you that I'm glad you have a blog! I've read all your novellas and loved them and it's great to be posted on your progress! I love Regency-set m/m stories and even wrote one myself and now I know what it feels like to get attacked by new ideas. I'd love to read more about Arthur and Leopold and about 2 rakehells and a pretty boy and, actually, anything you will write!

  4. I don't know about what you are going to work on next but I love the boy at the top, lol, :-)

Been to Ireland and it was fab!

  5. Hey Barbara!! I'm very tempted to work on Oliver and Vincent's book next. In fact, after I wrote this post, I opened the outline and made more notes in it. And the Regency vamp novellas - I think you might like them. One of the heroes is a gorgeous Georgian era vamp. Such a lonely soul. And the other is a 3rd son of a Duke. Sex and angst - my favorite combination!

Hi Farida! Thanks for stopping by, and it's great to hear you liked the books! You've written a m/m Regency? Cool! Is it published? There's not that many of them out there, and I love to find new ones to read.

Shawn - I'm so jealous that you've been to Ireland! I've heard it's beautiful there. So very green :) And the pretty boy at the top is very pretty, isn't he? ;)

  6. You and I are apparently on the same wavelength, since I just did much the same thing, trying to organize my myriad ideas.

Cannot wait for you to get started on some of these fab ideas, and I know that you're dying to get going as well. Keep typing chica!

  7. Hi, no it is not published, but it doesn't stop me from writing the next one:D Though with so many different characters and stories it is hard to choose which one!
