Elisa Rolle hosts an Inside Reader post where she asks authors to list their top 10 GLBT books and the reasons why they love them. Today I'm her Inside Reader. I doubt any of you will be surprised by my top 10 list, but to check it out head on over to her live journal.http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/975265.html I'll admit, I was a bit intimidated when Elisa first asked me if I wanted to do a post. Most of the other posts I'd seen were full of GBLT fiction, what I'd consider more high-brow books. Um...when it comes to fiction (GBLT or otherwise), pretty much all I read anymore are romances. So my list is a little different than previous posts by other authors. lol
I also have an interview up on A History of Romance today. A local author friend is part of the group blog and when she asked if I'd be interested in doing an interview, I of course said yes. I'm also doing a give-a-way as part of the interview.
That's about it for me today. I will say that I am finally writing something. I won't say what yet - need to finish chapter one before I feel like I'm really working on the book. But once I get some chapters behind me, I'll let you know which book idea the muse settled on.
Yay! I'm glad you're writing, but I think Shayne will be secretly disappointed. I think he really wanted to play with those whips and chains.
ReplyDeleteI've seen him in action, too. Several times, lol.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read chapter one, if it ever gets finished.
Hey Eyre - I agree, I think Shayne really likes to play with his whips and chains. But I'm sure I'll give him another opportunity to indulge soon enough. lol
ReplyDeleteHi Shawn - And very nice action, too. ;) Oh, yee of little faith. It will eventually get finished :)
Okay, have travelled far and wide across the blogosphere to touch on all your interviews. Whew, I'm exhausted! You're one popular lady!
ReplyDeleteVery excited that you've been writing, and I have a guess as to what you chose...can't wait to hear if I'm right!
Thanks, Devon! Your guess is probably right, as I went back to something I had tried to start a month or so ago (or it could have been more, since it's now March).
