<i>London Legal, Book 3</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Lord Grayson Holloway goes after what he wants—be it in the law office on his clients’ behalf or in the bedchamber. His new position as partner puts him closer to achieving his goal of becoming the most successful solicitor in London. There’s just one problem—his new secretary. Broad of shoulder yet mild of manner, Edward tempts Gray like no other. Yet the young man barely notices him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Edward Fenton tries to be a good secretary, but being in Lord Grayson’s hard, commanding presence rouses Edward’s most forbidden desires. Wicked, naughty desires no gentleman should consider giving in to, let alone with his new employer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Gray is more than willing to mix business with pleasure. But convincing Edward to take a chance on a future with him? That might be the most challenging case Gray has ever taken on.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<i>Warning: Includes buttoned-up gentlemen who become undone, improper use of a desk, spankings, and a big bad lord who has a soft spot for his virgin secretary.</i></div>

London Legal, Book 1<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Arthur Barrington knows exactly what he wants. A practical man. Someone who values discretion. Commitment. In other words, someone like himself. His old friend, Leopold Thornton, an overindulged son of a wealthy viscount with a reputation for vice and debauchery, couldn’t be less of a good candidate. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yet when Leopold extends an invitation to his country estate, Arthur agrees. Perhaps a holiday with the sinfully beautiful man will help him get over a recent breakup. Then he can return to his thriving London law practice and resume his quiet life.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ten years ago, Leopold learned the hard way that patience doesn’t always have its rewards. Now that he has Arthur all to himself, he isn’t going to let a second opportunity pass him by. And he certainly isn’t above using pleasure to tempt Arthur into his bed.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Leopold has only a few days to open Arthur’s eyes to the possibility that he’s the man Arthur is looking for. That his love is genuine—and he’s worthy of Arthur’s heart.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Warning: Includes a gorgeous bad boy who’s been in love with a conservative solicitor for a decade. Indecent acts in a forest between two hot men. Angst. More explicit sex. And expectations turned upside down.</i></div>

<i style="text-align: justify;"><b>Business and pleasure is a mix no gentleman should consider.</b></i><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Edward Fenton tries to be a good secretary, but being in Lord Grayson’s hard, commanding presence rouses Edward’s most forbidden desires. Wicked, naughty desires no gentleman should consider giving in to, let alone with his new employer.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Gray is more than willing to mix business with pleasure. But convincing Edward to take a chance on a future with him? That might be the most challenging case Gray has ever taken on.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Warning: <i>Includes buttoned-up gentlemen who become undone, improper use of a desk, spankings, and a big bad lord who has a soft spot for his virgin secretary.</i></div>

Convincing Arthur and Convincing Leopold are about Arthur & Leopold's relationship and should be read in order. Convincing the Secretary is a new book in the series and features a new couple. It takes place two months after Convincing Leopold and can be read as a stand alone title, though you'll likely enjoy it a tad more if you've read the other two books in the series. All three books are novellas. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The London Legal series features lawyers finding love, with books #2 and #3 revolving around Arthur's law office in London. </div>

It's not often that I delete a scene in a book. Usually I'm adding a bit during edits. But <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank"><b>Viscount's Wager</b></a> got long on me, so I ended up cutting two scenes that weren't critical to Anthony and Gabriel's relationship development. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Actually, neither scene featured the guys - one scene was with Max & Tristan (from <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/allinwiththeduke.html" target="_blank">All In with the Duke</a>) and the other was with Will and Jack (from <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/sharplove.html" target="_blank">Sharp Love</a>). The scenes were fun to write, yet needed to be cut. But when I did the cutting, I promised myself I'd share them after the book released just for fun and to give readers a peek into decisions that go into finalizing a book. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I shared Max & Tristan's scene in my September newsletter (and I'll post it here later for those who don't get the newsletter). As promised in the newsletter, here is the other deleted scene from Viscount's Wager. </div>
<br />
<b>***SPOILER ALERT***</b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you haven't read Viscount's Wager yet, this deleted scene will contain spoilers. Consider yourself warned. If you want to read on, scroll below the cover. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PNKC3fdYEwM/VhvhB0LQy4I/AAAAAAAABcU/5TqNgL-ndWw/s1600/Viscount%2527s%2BWager%2B-%2B150x225.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PNKC3fdYEwM/VhvhB0LQy4I/AAAAAAAABcU/5TqNgL-ndWw/s1600/Viscount%2527s%2BWager%2B-%2B150x225.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The scene was planned to take place in Chapter 18, between the time when Anthony and Gabriel go from the bedroom down to the study. When I wrote it, I thought I needed to show how Will and Jack knew to go to the house, but then later decided I could cover that with a line of dialogue later in the book. </div>
<i><br />
</i> <i>Originally from Chapter 18...</i><br />
<span style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">Sprawled over Jack on the narrow pallet, William Drake lifted his head and listened. There it was again—a distinct thud beneath the sounds of the rain pelting against the barn’s wooden roof. </span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Jack.” He gave his lover’s broad shoulder a nudge. “Did you hear that?”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Pardon?” came Jack’s low, sleep-logged voice from the absolute darkness of the room, his chest rumbling with the word.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“I thought I heard something.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
The immense body beneath him tensed. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Will didn’t know the time, but it felt as though a few hours had passed since they’d fallen asleep. Likely too late for it to be merely Rawling and Tilden engaging in some enthusiastic bedchamber activities. A conclusion Jack must have come to as well.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Up with you,” Jack said, all-business, the lethargy gone as if it had never been there. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Before Will could marshal his limbs to comply, large hands bracketed his ribcage and lifted him from Jack’s chest as though he weighted nothing. The blankets slipped from his back, cold air smacking his skin.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Stay here.” There were the sounds of Jack moving about the small room in the loft—boards creaking, the shuffle of clothing. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Like hell I’m staying here.” Will got to his feet. Where had he left his clothes?</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Will,” Jack admonished. “Stay here.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“It’s too cold on the pallet without you. Best I get dressed and move about.” It wasn’t a lie. Sleeping on top of Jack had kept him nicely warm, but without a decent fire, the room was downright cold. And damp. Yes, he could stay under the blankets they’d found in the traveling carriage, but he did not want Jack investigating without him. Pummeling fists and brute strength couldn’t always keep one safe. “You don’t want me to catch a chill, do you?”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Another rustle of fabric. Jack let out a grunt, and stopped arguing. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Will felt around in the darkness and found his clothes and boots scattered about near the wooden stool in the corner. As he tugged on his breeches and shirt, he could feel the tension in the air. Tension that radiated from Jack. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“I am certain it is nothing to worry about,” Will said, foregoing his waistcoat and slipping his arms into the sleeves of his coat. “We are in the country. Could be an animal loitering about, or maybe it was just the rain. Or maybe those two haven’t gone to sleep yet. Perhaps they are even more vigorous in bed than we are.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Another grunt from Jack, yet this one was lower, deeper. Not a sound of agreement.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“It’s possible. Those contained country gentlemen aren’t always as polite as they seem.” A fact Will had learned years ago. “Tilden could have Lord Rawling trussed up and bare-arsed on the bed. Maybe he has a fondness for paddles.” That was something Will did not want to walk in on. It would definitely make it uncomfortable between the four of them in the morning. Though… “Would <i>you</i> like a paddling?” Oh, that idea held definite merit. Jack’s muscular arse reddened and skin blazing hot. Jack bent over and begging him for another swift smack of the paddle. Jack liked to beg, and he really liked submitting. A need that was lodged into his soul. And Jack had grown more comfortable with his desires of late. Perhaps—</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Your greatcoat,” Jack said, completely ignoring Will as though he hadn’t spoken. Heavy fabric was thrust into Will’s hands. “Be sure to button it. It’s raining something fierce.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
All right. Perhaps now wasn’t the best moment to bring up a potential new erotic game for them to indulge in. Another night, then. He’d ask Jack again, and when they had the benefit of some candlelight. The look in Jack’s dark eyes would tell him immediately if he landed on something that sparked Jack’s interest. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Will donned his greatcoat, but before following Jack’s request, he checked the pockets of both it and his coat underneath. One, two, three blades. Four, actually, counting the one he kept in his right boot. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
They made their way down the ladder. When they reached the end of the aisle, Jack thrust out an arm, keeping Will from preceding him. There was a squeak of hinges as Jack partially opened the barn door. A gust of wind blew a spray of rain into the aisle, misting Will’s face.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“See anything?” Will asked.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Just the back of the house, though there is a candle lit in a room on the first floor. One of the windows on the side of the house, near the front. Drapes must be drawn, but there’s some light around the edges.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Maybe they haven’t retired yet.” To Will’s knowledge, there were no servants in residence, so it couldn’t be a footman moving about the house. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“We should be cautious, all the same.” Jack fully opened the barn door. “Stay behind me.”</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
They stepped out of the barn, Will shutting the door behind them. Cold rain smacked Will’s head, his shoulders, his face. The downpour was a constant drone of noise surrounding them. As they came up to the window in question, Jack paused. Yet the drapes were drawn too tightly for them to see into the room. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Jack motioned toward the front. They trudged through water-logged grass. Then Jack abruptly stopped and threw out his arm again, pushing Will behind him and against the side of the house. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“There’s a carriage with a team of four waiting up the drive,” Jack said over his shoulder. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Mr. Tilden had a visitor, in the dead of the night, no less. The preferred time for hired muscle to make a call. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
So much for their little holiday in Derbyshire. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
“Stay here,” Jack added, then he disappeared around the front of the house.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">
Like hell Will was staying there. He reached into his greatcoat pocket, fingers wrapping around cold steel, then followed Jack. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;">

Today, September 16, is my 7 year anniversary as a published author! </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5Xhp0N-rs2M/VfjrJkODXhI/AAAAAAAABbw/4aog5um2v2A/s1600/AM_BoundByDeception_coversm.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5Xhp0N-rs2M/VfjrJkODXhI/AAAAAAAABbw/4aog5um2v2A/s1600/AM_BoundByDeception_coversm.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On September 16, 2008, <b><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/bound_by_deception.html" target="_blank">Bound by Deception</a> </b>released. It has the distinction of being my first published book, though <b><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/His_Desire.html" target="_blank">Object of His Desire</a> </b>was the first M/M book I ever wrote and my first attempt at writing a novella. It was simply of function of publisher timelines that caused Bound by Deception to be my first published book. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Still, that's not to take away from Oliver and Vincent's achievement. They get to have a #1 next to their names. I loved writing that book, and I still love it. The angst, the smex, the kink, oh my! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I submitted Bound by Deception to Loose Id, I crossed my fingers and hoped and prayed they'd like my story. I stalked my inbox like an author possessed, and there was much flailing about when I received an offer to publish the book. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A lot has happened in 7 years. I've written 18 books and 4 freebie short stories. I have books in ebook, print and audio formats and in foreign languages. I've learned a lot about the publishing world and have grown a ton as an author. I also know what a dangling modifier is now. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Some things haven't changed. I still stalk my inbox when I have a proposal out to a publisher. I still fret that I'll get a "Really? This is crud." reply. There is still much flailing when a publisher tells me that yes, they'd like to publish my story. And I still get ridiculously excited on new book release day.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And something else hasn't changed - my goal is to share my stories. I started writing because I wanted to read angsty, smexy Regency M/M romances and I couldn't find them. So I wrote the type of stories I wanted to read. When I decided to publish, my goal shifted to sharing those stories with others. And that's still my goal to this day. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Enough about me. To celebrate my anniversary (which is still about me, but let's overlook that), I'm holding a <b>giveaway</b> <b>for winner's choice </b><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/books.html" target="_blank"><b>of one of my available books</b>.</a> Here are the giveaway details:</div>

Here's the blurb for the book:<br />
<br />
London, 1822<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>You never forget your first love, but is a second chance worth the gamble?</i></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anthony, Viscount Rawling, knows exactly what he wants in life and he isn't above having a look about London for it. When he spots recently widowed Gabriel Tilden at a ton function, he thinks he might have found love…again.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Gabriel is as gorgeous and reserved as he was when he broke Anthony's heart seven years ago. But they were only adolescents then…surely Anthony won't hold the incident against him. And especially not when the attraction between them is stronger than ever.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Gabriel came to London in search of distraction, and a teasing Anthony is impossible to resist. As Anthony introduces Gabriel to the pleasures that can be found in the city—and in his bedchamber—their bond deepens into something more. Yet both men are hiding secrets that could pull them apart forever…</div>

First up, I’ve got news on <b><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank">Viscount’s Wager</a></b>, book #3 in the Gambling on Love series, which is
Rawling’s story. It’s around 100,000 words, and will be my longest book yet.
The release date has been set – August 10, 2015 – and it’s available for
pre-order at all the usual retailers. I also have the cover art and the blurb.
I love that the guys are kissing on the cover.</div>

The book has a beautiful new cover, some minor edits, and a new lower price. This second edition is not substantially different from the original. Even though I did some little edits, I doubt anyone would notice them. If you've already read the original, then just admire the pretty new cover and you won't be missing anything if you don't buy the second edition.</div>

<b><i>Love wasn't supposed to be part of the bargain…</i></b><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On every visit to Madame Delacroix’s brothel, Nathaniel Travers requests the same man. Stunningly handsome and highly skilled, Jasper not only shares Nate’s fondness for wickedly erotic games and black leather corsets, but he has become a trusted confidant. And Jasper’s the only person who knows Nate longs for a committed relationship with his childhood friend, Peter Edmonton.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unrequited love hurts, but it hurts even more when the object of affection is in love with another. Jasper Reed has been working at Delacroix’s for a decade. He’s saved enough to retire, yet he remains at the decadent London brothel. Leaving would mean leaving Nate and the hope someday the rugged gentleman would stop pining for his best friend and realize he loves Jasper, just as Jasper loves him.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Edmonton’s impending marriage looms before them, causing Jasper to take another look at his stubborn heart. Yet Jasper’s a bastard whore, and Nate’s the nephew of a viscount. Surely there can’t be any hope for them… </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Note: This is a previously published work. This second edition has been edited with minor changes. For readers who purchased the original edition, this second edition is not substantially different.</i></div>

With the new year comes a look ahead. Here are my plans for 2015: </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The to-write list includes:</div>
<br />
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Finishing up <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank"><b>Viscount’s Wager</b></a> (Gambling on Love #3). I’m really loving how this book is coming together. The book has sort of a ‘second chance romance’ theme. Anthony’s (Viscount Rawling’s) hero was his teenage crush, the gorgeous and reserved Gabriel Tilden, who was Anthony’s best friend’s older brother. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Writing <b><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/convincingthesecretary.html" target="_blank">Convincing the Secretary</a> </b>(London Legal #3). This one will feature Edward Fenton, the mild-mannered and not-so-diligent secretary in Convincing Leopold. His hero? The ruthless new solicitor in the office. There’s unrequited love, wicked naughty games, and some angst. One of my favorite kinds of stories to write :)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Writing a <b>novella for Sam</b> from <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/thief.html" target="_blank">Brook Street: Thief</a>. Sam was Cavin’s younger ‘brother’, and his story will take place 6 years after Thief. It will be kind of New Adult-ish, since he’ll be 19 yrs old and his love interest will be 21. I’ve got some scene ideas scribbled out, and this one is going to be tons of fun. </li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The 2015 to-be-released list includes:</div>
<br />
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/his_client.html" target="_blank"><b>His Client</b></a>, 3/17/2015. This is a re-release. I got the rights back from Loose Id, and will self-publish it this spring with a shiny new cover, some minor edits, and a new lower price. The re-release is currently <a href="http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SHJMXSI" target="_blank">available for pre-order</a> and it’s <a href="https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/show/id/59930" target="_blank">available on NetGalley</a> for any reviewers/bloggers who want to request it for review. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank"><b>Viscount’s Wager</b></a>. TBD release date, though it looks like sometime in 2015. Once I get the book finished, I’ll have a better idea of when it will be available. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Sam’s book</b>. Currently targeting late 2015 for a release date. This will be a self-published title. <a href="http://cooperdavisbooks.com/" target="_blank">Cooper Davis</a> (a very dear friend of mine) and I decided to collaborate on a duology. My contribution will be Sam’s book, and Cooper is contributing a historical New Adult set in the fantasy world from her Noble Pleasures series. </li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For those who are counting, that’s 2 new releases and 1 re-release in 2015, with 2 new novellas to write and about a ¼ of a novel. A part of me feels like it’s not enough, that I should be producing more. The epub & indie markets move quickly. There are authors who have the gift of production and can write amazing books in a relatively short amount of time. I, unfortunately, am not so gifted. My muse is a slowpoke, and in order for him to work at his best, he likes to go slow. It’s something I’ve come to accept. I’ve also been working on writing/life balance. Being in the writing cave all the time is no fun. I need to take time to enjoy life and friends and family. And when I do that, it makes writing much more fun. So that’s my focus for 2015 – balance. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you are wondering about the London Legal novellas, those are currently slated to be released starting in January 2016 with the re-release of <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/convincing_arthur.html" target="_blank">Convincing Arthur </a>(currently <a href="http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SB49E72" target="_blank">available for pre-order</a>), followed by the re-release of <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/convincing_leopold.html" target="_blank">Convincing Leopold</a>, and then the release of the new 3rd book in the series, <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/convincingthesecretary.html" target="_blank">Convincing the Secretary</a>. 2016 may seem like forever away, but given my writing schedule/pace and production lead times coupled with wanting to release the books in the series close together, January 2016 ended up being the start date. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Last but not least, for those who have asked if I’ll have more books available in audio, I received word that <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/sharplove.html" target="_blank">Sharp Love</a> and <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank">Viscount’s Wager</a> will be available from Audible. Sharp Love will be available in audio in about 6 months or so. Viscount’s Wager will either be available when the ebook releases or afterward. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So that’s my look ahead into 2015. After a beyond hectic 2014, I have a feeling 2015 will be a very good year, and I’m super excited about the books on my to-write list. Here’s to a great 2015 for everyone! </div>

I have coming soon news! <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/his_client.html" target="_blank"><b>His Client</b></a> will be re-released on March 17, 2015. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I got the rights back from Loose Id and will be self-publishing it with a new cover, a new lower list price, and some minor edits. For those of you who purchased the original edition, this self-published edition won't be substantially different. The book's currently available for pre-order on Amazon (links below), and will be available soon at other retailers for pre-order. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's the gorgeous new cover (I'm so in love with it! *pets shiny, pretty cover*) and the updated blurb:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-11PpOBOShZc/VMHbmSRPCeI/AAAAAAAABYQ/1KxE5cJVZv0/s1600/His-Client_400x600-web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-11PpOBOShZc/VMHbmSRPCeI/AAAAAAAABYQ/1KxE5cJVZv0/s1600/His-Client_400x600-web.jpg" height="320" width="221" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>Love wasn't supposed to be part of the bargain…</b><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Edmonton’s impending marriage looms before them, causing Jasper to take another look at his stubborn heart. Yet Jasper’s a bastard whore, and Nate’s the nephew of a viscount. Surely there can’t be any hope for them… </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Note: This is a previously published work. This second edition has been edited with minor changes. For readers who purchased the original edition, this second edition is not substantially different.</i></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> * * * *<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Here are the rules - Dinner starts on 12/31/2014 at noon EST. You can "choose your own dinner adventure" from appetizers, soup, salad, main dish and dessert, but those of you who visit and comment at <b>each and every blog </b>will be entered into a drawing for one of three (3) $35.00 gift cards to the venue of your choice: Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or All Romance Ebooks.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Plus, some individual authors (like me!) might include a private drawing for those people who stop by. So read, drink and be merry! Happy New Year from all of us, at the M/M Writers' Buffet!</span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">For full blog links visit <a href="http://zamaxfield.com/new-years-eve-progressive-dinner/" target="_blank">http://zamaxfield.com/new-years-eve-progressive-dinner/</a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">* * * *</span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">I’ll admit, my idea of cooking usually involves a microwave or the toaster oven (or both, when I employ my micro-bake method). But I do have a few things I’ve created to appease my picky taste buds, and I can operate a grill and a stove. One recipe is a <b>BBQ Shrimp Caesar Salad</b>. It’s super yummy, and can be made in the summer (using the grill for the shrimp) or in cruddy weather (sautéing the shrimp). </span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Here’s what you need:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">•<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Romaine lettuce</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">•<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Parmesan cheese</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">•<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Romano cheese</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">•<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Caesar salad dressing</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">•<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Shrimp. Raw, peeled and deveined. Use as many as you want.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">•<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>BBQ spice rub</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">•<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Crusty dinner rolls</span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Make the salad first. Combine the lettuce with the salad dressing in a bowl, mix it up, then shred some </span>Parmesan<span style="font-family: inherit;"> and Romano cheese on it. After the salad is done, stick it in the refrigerator while you cook the shrimp. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Then throw the dinner rolls into the toaster oven to heat them up. You’ll need one for every person. I usually go with French rolls, since they are nice and crusty but soft on the inside.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">For the shrimp part, you’ll need a good BBQ spice rub. Rub the BBQ spice onto the shrimp. If you are grilling, then put the shrimp on skewers and grill until the shrimp are cooked. If sautéing, then put a bit of olive oil in a pan, heat up the pan on medium heat, and then sauté the shrimp until they are cooked. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The final step is to take the salad out of the fridge, throw the BBQ shrimp on it and then tear up the French rolls to make croutons and throw them on the salad as well. The salad is especially yummy when eaten when the shrimp and rolls are still warm – it makes a wonderful warm/cold combo. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">There you have it – one of the few dishes I can actually cook with a level of success and that doesn’t come out of a box. It’s not something any of the characters in my books would have eaten – my guys live in England in the early 1800’s. They like meat and good old fashioned English food. I don’t eat meat and my taste buds </span>aren't<span style="font-family: inherit;"> a fan of most traditional English dishes. But if Ben and Cavin from <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/thief.html" target="_blank"><b>Thief</b></a> lived in the 21st century, I could image Cavin making a salad like this one for Ben for a light luncheon or as one of the courses for a dinner party. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">And if you are interested in keeping up to date on my new book releases, you can find my <a href="http://www.avamarch.com/" target="_blank">newsletter sign-up form </a>on my website. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

The weather is actually warming up a bit here in the Midwest, so the daily high temps are above freezing again...for the time being.<br />
<br />
In Coming Soon news, the release date <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank">Viscount's Wager</a> (book #3 in the Gambling on Love series) has been pushed out. The book will release sometime in 2015. As for exactly when...I'm not sure yet. 2014 was an unexpectedly hectic year. I'll be very glad to have this year behind me. Plus, Viscount's Wager is turning out to be longer than expected. It will be even longer than All In with the Duke, which currently holds the title of my longest book.<br />
<br />
In good news, I'm loving the way Viscount's Wager is coming together. Seriously, love. Rawling has been super fun to write, and he and his hero, Gabriel Tilden, bring the angst and the smexy times. I hope readers love their story enough to forgive the delay in the book's release.<br />
<br />
For anyone who had pre-ordered the book and had their pre-order cancelled, there's no reason to worry and you have my apologies. Once a new release date is set, then the book will go back up for pre-order, and I'll also update the blog and my website with the new release date.<br />
<br />

I have some print books on my shelves that are in need of good homes. So I have decided to host a series of giveaways, one every couple of weeks or so for the rest of 2014. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let's start with <b><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/allinwiththeduke.html" target="_blank">All In with the Duke</a></b>. Here are the giveaway details:</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">

Those who have visited the blog know by now that I have a thing for covers. I just love them. I recently received the new covers for <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/convincing_arthur.html" target="_blank">Convincing Arthur</a> and <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/convincing_leopold.html" target="_blank">Convincing Leopold</a>, and of course I must share them. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PtVABceikwg/VFUU1m6GZWI/AAAAAAAABWc/GCI6vgmf2hU/s1600/ConvincingArthur72web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PtVABceikwg/VFUU1m6GZWI/AAAAAAAABWc/GCI6vgmf2hU/s1600/ConvincingArthur72web.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5j_lnhqP7ns/VFUU4PLzFBI/AAAAAAAABWk/RwR03AM6o_c/s1600/ConvincingLeopold72web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5j_lnhqP7ns/VFUU4PLzFBI/AAAAAAAABWk/RwR03AM6o_c/s1600/ConvincingLeopold72web.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I love the new covers. Samhain did a fantastic job. Many thanks to the cover artist, <a href="http://thekilliongroupinc.com/" target="_blank">Kim Killion</a>, for the gorgeous covers. Arthur and Leopold look so yummy :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The books will be re-released from Samhain Publishing. There will also be a new 3rd book in the series (<a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/convincingthesecretary.html" target="_blank">Convincing the Secretary</a>), featuring Arthur's secretary from Convincing Leopold. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
There is also now an official series title for the books. I referred to Arthur and Leopold's books as the 'Convincing series', but in actuality, they didn't have a series title. Since each book features as least one lawyer and since 2 of the 3 books feature Arthur's London law office, I decided on<b> London Legal</b>. So now the books are officially:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li>Convincing Arthur (London Legal #1)</li>
<li>Convincing Leopold (London Legal #2)</li>
<li>Convincing the Secretary (London Legal #3)</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
That's it from me for today. I hope everyone had a great Halloween! And check in early next week for information on an upcoming giveaway (I'll be hosting a giveaway for print copies of some of my books *g*).</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><i><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/sharplove.html" target="_blank">Sharp Love</a></i></b> is now available! This story is the 2nd book in the <i><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/books.html#gamblingonlove" target="_blank">Gambling on Love</a></i> series, and features Jack Morgan and William Drake. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While 6'5" Jack was first introduced in <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/allinwiththeduke.html" target="_blank"><i>All In with the Duke</i></a> as Max’s very useful (and very large) carriage driver, I believe Sharp Love can be read as a standalone. You don’t need to have read <i>All In with the Duke</i> in order to enjoy <i>Sharp Love</i>, though since the timelines overlap a bit, you might enjoy it more if you have read book #1 first. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For buy links to various resellers, or to read a sneak-peak at Chapter One, check out <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/sharplove.html" target="_blank">the book's page on my website. </a></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="text-align: justify;">And I’ll leave you with the blurb for the book:</span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>William Drake has lived among thieves, bastards and beggars all his life, doing what's necessary to survive. As a young orphan, that included looking after his best friend, Jack Morgan. But as they grew older, Jack took the honest path, leaving Will behind to fend for himself the only ways he knows how.</i></div>
<i><br /></i>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>When an unsavory errand for his employer brings Jack back to London's underbelly, he needs Will's help. It's there, among the alleys they ran through as children, that the love he's always felt for Will returns. As their nights together grow hotter, Will discovers something new about his old friend—Jack's need to serve extends into the bedchamber.</i></div>
<i><br /></i>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Will has never fully abandoned his dream of escaping London with Jack. But what could the Duke's driver want with a dishonest cheat like him, beyond a bit of rough sex? It takes the gamble of Will's life to find out if he can win Jack's heart…</i></div>

Carina Press is doing a test on a small number of books to see how well they do in trade paperback, and All In with the Duke was selected as one of the ‘test’ books. So if Max and Tristan (and the other books in the test) sell well in paper, then maybe Carina will decide to expand the program to more books. Which means maybe someday the other books in the Gambling on Love series and <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/brookstreetcollection.html" target="_blank">The Brook Street Collection</a> will also be available in print. </div>

For any bloggers/reviewers/those who like to post reviews – the book is <a href="https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/show/id/47541" target="_blank">now available on NetGalley</a>. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I went to Chicago North’s Spring Fling conference a few weeks ago and had a fabulous time. J. Leigh Bailey, Stephani Hecht, Jackie Nacht and I presented a workshop on M/M romance (which was moderated by T.A Chase), I participated in my first book signing, and got to meet some lovely authors. It was my first writing conference as a published author (I obviously don’t get out much) and meeting people who have read my books and enjoyed them…there’s nothing quite like that feeling. It was kind of like having Sally Field moments. I tried to maintain my composure and not geek-out too much, but I’ll admit, meeting readers left me with a ridiculous smile on my face. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I’m ducking back in the writing cave to continue working on <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank">Viscount’s Wager</a>, the 3rd book in the Gambling on Love series. I’m loving how the book is coming together. Oh, the drama. Oh, the angst. Oh, the smex…and if all goes well with the angst today, then I should be writing some smex later tonight. :)</div>

Here's the blurb for the book:<br />
<br />
<i>London, 1822</i><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
William Drake has lived among thieves, bastards and beggars all his life, doing what's necessary to survive. As a young orphan, that included looking after his best friend, Jack Morgan. But as they grew older, Jack took the honest path, leaving Will behind to fend for himself the only ways he knows how.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When an unsavory errand for his employer brings Jack back to London's underbelly, he needs Will's help. It's there, among the alleys they ran through as children, that the love he's always felt for Will returns. As their nights together grow hotter, Will discovers something new about his old friend—Jack's need to serve extends into the bedchamber.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Will has never fully abandoned his dream of escaping London with Jack. But what could the Duke's driver want with a dishonest cheat like him, beyond a bit of rough sex? It takes the gamble of Will's life to find out if he can win Jack's heart…</div>
<br />
Story length: 77,000 words<br />

I received the finalized blurb (back cover copy) for <strong><a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/sharplove.html" target="_blank">Sharp Love</a></strong>, the second book in the Gambling on Love series, and thought I'd share. As for anything else exciting with me...there's not much right now. I'm in the writing cave, working on Viscount's Wager, the third book in the series. It's coming along quite nicely. I like it a lot so far - Anthony (Rawling) is fun to write. And now I'll duck back into the cave and leave you with the blurb for Will and Jack's book:</div>

edited to add....I just accidentally deleted a bunch of comments from the blog. Thought I was on the spam tab and clicked delete-all too fast. Sorry to all the lovely commenters - the comments aren't gone because I didn't like them. It was purely user error. <br />

Here's the blurb:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It’s the eve of Mr. Rys Palmer’s 25th birthday. A significant birthday, for it’s when he’ll come into his majority and gain full control of the inheritance from his obscenely wealthy grandfather. But the promise of a fortune isn’t what gets Rys’s blood pumping. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mr. Martin Trent is well aware of his lover’s propensity for thrills. After four years together, he knows just how to indulge Rys without risking either of their reputations or their necks. But clearly Rys’s taste for more than a hint of danger has rubbed off on him. Beyond reckless to ask Rys to meet him at a formal <em>ton</em> ball to give Rys his gift. Yet Martin can’t resist the opportunity to give his lover a birthday he’ll never forget. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The book is currently slated for release in June 2014. No blurb yet, but I can tell you the book features Jack Morgan, who was Max's ever-useful, giant of a carriage driver/bodyguard/tracker-downer of ex-boyfriends from <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/allinwiththeduke.html" target="_blank">All In with the Duke</a>. Jack's a principled, honorable kind of guy. And his hero, William Drake, is not so principled. Will and Jack have a history, a long one at that. I think of it as an 'old friends to lovers' book. Jack eventually ended up in Max's employ, and Will stayed in the East End of London where he 'works' as a card sharp. In Sharp Love, you'll find out how Jack is so good at tracking down 'missing' ex-boyfriends and other random people for Max, and what exactly Jack did with his time while he was seeing to an 'errand' for Max in the last 1/4 of All In with the Duke. ...yeah, Jack does a lot of work for Max that needs air quotes. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In other news, I'm currently working on <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/viscountswager.html" target="_blank">Viscount's Wager</a>, book #3 in the Gambling on Love series. It features Anthony, Viscount Rawling, who was Max's best friend, and Gabriel Tilden, one of the people Jack tracks down in All In with the Duke. Gabriel was Anthony's teenage crush and has the distinction of being Anthony's first kiss. Ah, thwarted young love! And that's all I'll say about that book, as I'm currently writing it and haven't finished it yet. :)</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm totally late on this one (I blame my beyond hectic weekend) and the sale/giveaway is over, but I have to give a shout-out to Oliver and Vincent. Joyfully Jay picked her 15 all time favorite Loose Id books as part of her <a href="http://joyfullyjay.com/2014/01/joyfully-jay-birthday-sale-and-giveaway.html" target="_blank">birthday celebration/sal</a>e, and <a href="http://www.evangelinecollins.com/avamarch/bound_by_deception.html" target="_blank">Bound by Deception</a> was on her list. Yay for Oliver and Vincent! </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is currently -2 degrees in my neck of the woods and spring can't get here soon enough. Hope everyone's staying warm and having a nice January!</div>
