I did it! That chick up in the menu bar - the Evangeline one who writes books with heroes and heroines - she finished a single-title tonight. First time ever under a deadline. :D As Ava, I've written novellas under a deadline (two in fact - Bound to Him and Convincing Arthur), but this is a first for Evangeline. Yep, I'm feeling like A Champion tonight. *g*

Next up, I'll start on a new m/m novella. Oliver and Vincent are still bugging me the most, so it looks like their final book, tentatively titled Bound Forever, will be up next.

First though, I'm going to take a couple weeks off. Just be lazy, read some books, play around on the internet (oh - how I have missed you, internet!), and clean the house. It's gotten a bit...yuck...around here lately, due to the fact that I haven't been doing much beside writing of late. My laptop and I have become very good friends. LOL

I hope everyone has a fabulous and safe New Year's Eve!

  1. You go girl!!! Congrats!! Enjoy the well deserved time off. BTW, I'm looking forward to the next Evangeline book. It seems like it's been forever!

  2. OOOOH...I just read the blurb on your site! I can't wait! November 2010? You're killing us Ava!

BTW, this should be interesting, the heroine, love her already. Poor girl has a family to support. Oh and the hero sounds like a winner. A lonely sole...sigh...poor guy. I love him already. But he's married? I can't wait to see how you get them around that. Hmmmm.... *thinking of how you did it*

  3. Thanks, Barbara!!

My new hero has really grown on me, and he turned out better than I could have hoped. I'm thinking I might actually like him more than Gideon. *gasp!* lol But I'm not quite sure if he can dethrone Oliver yet. I'll admit, I have a soft spot for Ollie ;)

  4. Congrats on finishing. :-)

Don't take too much time off, my dear, there is a stable master just waiting to get his hands on his nobleman, lol.

  5. Woo hoo!! As I said last night, this means that we get AVA back! Yay us!!

    Congrats love!!

  6. Congrats on finishing the book!!

I hope you have a great New Year and
    enjoy your break! :)

  7. Thanks Shawn, Mandi, Devon and Lily!!

And no worries, Shawn, I'm not taking too much time off. Our men are bugging me, too. ;)

  8. WooHoo! Congrats (again) on finishing that ms on time. Can't wait to see how it all turns out... *grin*

    Enjoy your down time!

  9. Whoo hoo!! Major congrats on making that deadline! You ROCK!! Lol, have I shamelessly abused my exclamation point quota yet? Seriously though, enjoy your time lazing for a bit. You deserve it.

  10. Thanks, Martha and Jodi!

You know, I find myself at kind of a loss for what to do today. Now that the book's done, it feels kinda weird to have free time again. LOL.
