Next Book and Other Random Stuff

It snowed here last night. Snowed!! Yes, the white cold stuff. sigh. I'm so not ready for winter.

If you haven't seen me around the web or on Goodreads much, it's because I'm busily finishing up a ms. It's closing in on January, and I've been giving some serious thought to the next Ava book. Wanna know who has been bugging me the most lately? *g* Oliver and Vincent. :) Come mid-January, I'm planning to start work on the last book in the Bound series, tentatively titled Bound Forever.

In other random news, Convincing Arthur got a lovely review the other day from Whipped Cream Erotic Romance Reviews. 5 Cherries. Made me so proud of Arthur and Leopold. I don't usually pimp out reviews on the blog, but the men have been receiving some very nice ones lately, so I thought I'd share one. Now if you're in the mood to read a bunch of review quotes, pop on over to my website. Otherwise, well...I try to spare you all the blatant squeeing over reviews. :D

Speak Its Name, the historical gay fiction review site, is hosting an Advent Calendar. -
"The Blog is Two Years Old and to celebrate–and to thank all you lovely readers for your loyalty–we have, for your delectation, lined up a fabulous feast of amazing authors – one each day from 1st to 24th December – who will be blogging about a subject of their choosing, and a present will be given out each day."

Yes, I'm one of the above mentioned 'amazing authors' *g* and I'm doing a post and a giveaway as part of the calendar. However, the authors aren't supposed to tell which day their posts are going up. So, if you're in the mood for some holiday fun and a chance to win some prizes, hop on over. ...and no, my post is not going up today. That would just be too obvious. LOL.

  8. Thanks for the Advent Calendar information; I wasn't aware of that site but now it's bookmarked!

Not feeling too sorry for your snow, though....I'm in the center of Iowa, we had the blizzard with 15" of snow. I'm on Day 2 of being snowbound...but I've put it to good use by doing laundry, reading, dishes, reading, checking on the well being of family, oh! and more reading! :-)

Congrats on the good reviews! I know "I" always enjoy your stories and love the pictures you post.

  10. Thanks, Drew! Be careful what you wish for! I had flurries here today and it was like 13 degrees outside. Freakin' freezin' !!!

Thank you, Shay - both for the congrats and for the chains. They are working quite nicely ;)

Goodness, Sherry! Well, the flurries don't seem so bad compared to 15" and snowbound. Stay warm and safe!

Hey Mandi - I am SO ready for spring already, too!
